Ivy Pedals Black Box is a minimalist clean boost with a sleek design, reversed knobs to confuse your enemies, and TONS and TONS of gain. The Gain knob is on the left, and the Volume knob is on the right. Ivy Pedals X-Tube overdrive is my take on the classic faux-tube overdrive effect. The standard X-Tube builds are overdrive/distortion effects, while the GOLD X-Tube is a true overdrive, with more headroom in the soft-clipping circuit. I tried a different type of germanium diode for the clipping, and thus the GOLD X-Tube was born- slight changes to the build on the same PCB.
