POST EDIT: Folks whilst you are probably aware of how much time and effort we put into the edits of these videos, rather frustratingly we have had to snip two bits out for reasons I will not go into here. Its left two "Jumps" in the music and flow of the video, so please forgive us.

Welcome to this weeks family friendly explore of an abandoned railway. We searched much of the north end of one of Hampshire's famous disused railway lines. From bridges to rivers, from level crossings to road over bridges, which best be described as viaducts, we try and uncover a few mysteries along the way.

The Spratt and winkle line was a much loved link of the city of Southampton and its local town Andover to the north. Built as a single track railway in the mid 1860's and converted to dual in the mid 1880's how much can we uncover on what turned out to be a 12 mile hike!
