Autumn Running Sessions Part 1 | Ambleford Junction Model Railway | OO Gauge Trains | Railways |Loco

Time has been a bit tight of late so there hasn't been much time for modelling. Dr Beeching's axe will be falling on Ambleford in the not too distant future. Owing to a house move the layout will be dismantled in the coming months. A new layout will be built and the plan is to eventually put that on YouTube too. Ambleford is probably reaching the end of its lifespan with a few little things needing work. It's been a pleasure to operate over the last through years and will always bring me a huge amount of pleasure. It kept me busy and sane during the COVID lockdown of 2020. I consider myself an amateur to this hobby so I am always pleased that I finally built a layout to some level of completion. When the final bell rings I will put a post out but until then the plan is to continue to operate whilst the other layout is under construction. The time will eventually come though when a lot of the scenery will need to be removed. A lot of it will be reused and will be appearing on the new layout - almost like a Ambleford Junction MK2 !
