While this commercial looks like a trailer for an action movies (st least at first), it's actually a commercial for the LG Vu (pronounced "view").

This commercial was recorded back in 2008 so this was before everyone had a smart phone. The Vu was a touchscreen smartphone that was released in May, 2008, almost a year after the iPhone and about four months before the first Android phone. The phone was on the AT&T network.

It should be noted that images in this commercial have been simulated and modified to make them appear larger then the actual product. Additional service charges may apply for some features. Not all services available everywhere.

This commercial was recorded on June 18th, 2008 on the Sci-Fi Channel during an episode of the show Ghost Hunters. So this phone had only been out for about a month.
