Their dismissal of the rule of law, paradoxically, takes place in courts of law, is advanced with (pseudo)legal arguments, and produces parallel legal institutions. Luuk de Boer, assistant professor of Legal Methods at the Faculty of Law at the University of Groningen, researches sovereign citizens and the problem of trust in the legal institutions. In this video, he talks about what he has discovered and which questions still remain surrounding this topic.
