Chadstone Shopping Centre, also known as "The Fashion Capital," is Australia’s largest shopping mall and one of the largest in the Southern Hemisphere, located in Malvern East, Melbourne, approximately 17 km southeast of the CBD. The mall features a mix of high-end and mainstream shopping, three food precincts, a state-of-the-art HOYTS Cinema, and The Social Quarter for gourmet dining. It’s easily accessible via a free tourist shuttle from Federation Square, 11 bus routes, or by car with 10,944 parking spaces, including valet services. The Chadstone Tourist Shopping Passport offers exclusive discounts for visitors residing over 50 km away. The centre has undergone multiple expansions, including a $660 million redevelopment in 2016, adding a 7,080 m² glass roof and new dining precincts.
