Using Gorilla Glue Clear Mounting Tape to Repair a Tile Mistake

We had our shower tile job completed...then we discovered we messed up sizing the hole for the shower head piping, so that our escutcheon plate for the shower head was too small (we hadn't tiled a large enough section adjacent to the piping). SO, we gave Gorilla Glue Clear Mounting Tape a try figuring if it didn't work, we'd mix up a small batch of thinset. Luckily, it worked really well! We grouted the tile in place after mounting it with this product and it's held up just fine.
