Data Visualization using r2D3: R Interface to D3 Visualizations by Zaynaib (Ola) Giwa

We were really excited to announce the start of the #OnePackagePerMeetup new series at Tunis R User Group. We believe that there are plenty of wonderful R packages that are not fully explored. We aim to invite an R expert who is willing to share his knowledge about one package to the audience, share the most important functions and updates of this package with hands-on exercises. We have the great pleasure to be monthly hosting amazing guests!

The second online workshop covered the #r2D3 R package (https://rstudio.github.io/r2d3/). We were delighted to be hosting Zaynaib Giwa (  / zaynaib-ola-giwa  ) who is a data analyst and web developer based out of Chicago. She is a co-organizer of R-Ladies Chicago (https://www.rladieschicago.org/).

▶️ About the workshop:
#D3 (https://d3js.org/) is an amazing data visualization library that allows you to create highly customizable visualizations. But with that flexibility, comes a high learning curve. In this workshop, Zaynaib will be teaching 3 basic concepts to create any chart with D3. These concepts are SVGs, data binding, and scales. When you understand these fundamentals you will be able to use your d3 scripts with your R shiny applications through the r2D3 R package.
