Looking for easy tips on how to not gain weight during holidays, Christmas or thanksgiving? These suggestions, if applied, will guarantee you a more enjoyable and less fattening holidays.

STRATEGY to not worry about weight gain during holidays:
PREPARE BEFORE THE EVENT HAPPENING, NOT AFTERWARDS.

TACTICS you can use to make you not gaining weight during these events:
Reduce the amount of carbohydrates and/or fat prior the event. This way you will be reducing calories, which most likely will induce weight loss.
Skip breakfast during the day of the event.
Take advantage of the extra energy that you are getting from food and use it to do extra exercise. If you go to the gym, take advantage of this time and push yourself to bring the weights and repetitions up.
Don't try a little bit of everything. By doing so, you will end up eating more compared with selecting only a few.
Pick smaller plates and portions. It has also been shown in many studies that we tend to eat more if we pick bigger portion and if we eat from bigger plates.

Those are the action tips I have for you in this video. As mentioned in it, I could give you many that are proven to work, but knowing a lot and not doing anything does not make any difference.

With that said, if you really want to be more relaxed around food this Holiday and not gain weight (or at least minimize it) do yourself a favor and apply what was here shared.
