Winter Pike Fishing : Chasing Esox : Small Top Secret Scottish Loch

The Pike hadn't read the script today. I visited a small loch that had once been a very good Pike venue. The years have past, time has moved on - could this little place fish like it had done in the past?

Could there still be monster Pike lurking in the depths? Is there a giant Pike here? Could the small jacks have been feeding on their smaller brothers and sisters? There's only one way to find out.

Well, today the Pike didn't show. It was very cold, around one degree when I packed up. However, the location is beautiful and I will be making a return trip inn the future. It may have been a blank but it was a most enjoyable (if cold) fishing adventure. This really is real winter fishing.

This loch needs to remain a secret - pleased don't name it in the comments section.
