To finish off 2025, we ride a former Stagecoach London ALX400 Euro 2 trident on the Brooklands 462 circular between the bus museum and Weybridge Station & Town Centre. The bus in question is TA400 (Also known as 17400) which was new to Stagecoach in 2001. It operated out of Upton Park, Bow and West Ham up until 2013 where it was withdrawn and eventually sold to Southern Transit via an ensign sale.

This wasn't the usual batch (Gearbox wise) of ALX400s for Stagecoach as these came with a ZF Ecomat rather than the typical Voith gearbox like the rest of the tridents (The Y-NHK and LX51 ALX400s had ZFs but there's some 9.9m buses within the same batch but they still had the 3 speed voith, not the ZF and the only other ZF ALX400s stagecoach had were the regional MK02s but they're long gone). These were also the first batch of Stagecoach double deck buses to feature the newer interior with the orange and blue interior with beachball moquette instead of the older red and grey interior with chevron moquette which would become the standard until around 2020. Still, the bus performed well and still retains its classic euro 2 cummins sound!
