How to Fix Your Broken Guitar Pot Shaft with a Straw (Fast and Easy)

Описание к видео How to Fix Your Broken Guitar Pot Shaft with a Straw (Fast and Easy)

I have this 2008 Studio Les Paul and it had a loose knob. I tried to fix it and started messing around the pot... I ended breaking a piece of the shaft. As a college student, I didn't want to spend any money to fix guitar, didn't have to.

What you need:
1. A straw
2. A piece of Paper (fold the paper for a better result, or you can try something else)
3. Something to cut the straw (It can be a scissor)
4. The broken piece of the shaft. (If you don't have the broken piece anymore you can try to use something else to fill the straw, even paper might work, just not as good though)

I did this fix two years ago and it looks and feels perfect. In fact, I didn't even remember which knob had the broken shaft. I removed three knobs before finding the right one, and just did so to make the video.

Guitar being fixed: 2008 Gibson Les Paul Studio
(This works on any guitar with a split shaft though)
