== About this series ==
This "Accelerated" or "Quick Start" series is meant to give you an accelerated look at a mod to give you a detailed look at what’s in the mod without spelling it all out for you. We’ll mix in other mods when we can to show how different mods work together and give some practical uses.

We’re doing this within the Valhelsia: Volatile modpack, which is a new modpack concept from the Valhelsia Development team. It gives an early look at the latest mods on the latest version of Minecraft (currently 1.18.2) on the Forge Modding Platform.

We're getting an early look at the mods that the pack devs are evaluating for inclusion in their next modpack release, currently Valhelsia 5. This comes at the expense of stability and we may lose our world with any update as they may remove mods or add mods that break our world.
Depending on when you're watching this, Valhelsia: Volatile may look very different!

When Valhelsia 5 is released, Valhelsia: Volatile will move on to the next version.

I think this is a great opportunity to get an early look at new mods on the latest minecraft. So we'll treat this as a test lab and look at individual mods with some spotlights!
