So you have your F-250 and you're ready for truck stuff or work, for adventure. Whatever you wanna do with your truck, here's what will happen if you put cargo in it, you wanna prevent the cargo from slipping around or you may damage your cargo. If you wanna carry all kinds of heavy loads, maybe wood, maybe ladders. What will happened to that is if you don't have any liners in your truck beds, you could either damage your cargo or your truck bed. So what do you do Well, you get a liner just like this. So this is gonna be the bed tread impact truck fit liner.

It's very quick and easy to put on for when you need it right away. It provides a nice, safe cushion for both your cargo and your knees for if you wanna work inside of your truck bed. And it keeps your truck bed a little bit safer. This is custom fit for F-250 make sure to use our fit guide right here at etrailer. Especially if you have the longer bed so that you can get the right fit for your bed and your truck.

But since it is custom fit, notice how it is cut to fit around your wheel wells and your sidewalls. So in this video, we're gonna take a look at how well does it actually fit What is it made of Does it actually work And then I'll show you how quick it is to install later on. So let's talk about the custom-fit notice that it does fit around your wheel Wells, around your sidewall, but we do have a little bit of extra space or extra gaps to the side. So you don't have anything spilling over. I would still say it's like a 90% good fit, but the reason for that extra open space is because you can get the upgraded version of this mat.

That's gonna be the bed rug impact, where you get this impact mat. But you also get a polypropylene carpet like sidewalls. That's gonna be for your sidewalls and your bulkhead and that will fill in those gaps. So just because of that, I would say it fits almost perfectly. So what's this made of Well, let's flip it up and take a look.

So I didn't have it stuck to our tailgate just yet. That's because I'm trying this out on a bunch of different trucks, seeing how I really like the fit, things like that. One thing I did notice is that it really does absorb the impact that's because underneath the liner we have a three quarter inch layer of foam. So that foam is gonna be what you see in life jackets. It absorbs the impact. It doesn't absorb water though. So you prevent mold and mildew. And then let's take a look at the top. on top of the foam, you have this TPO material, so that's gonna be thermal plastic. And I would like to say it blends the grittiness. So you still have a good anti-skid surface, but it's not as gritty as a let's say spray-on liner. Those liners when you kneel on them, they could be rough on your knees and your hands. So this is a really good mix of the both. That thermal plastic makes this a lot easier to clean. So if you have, let's say leaves on there, you could just sweep it off, you can use a leaf blower. If it really gets dirty, you can easily use a power washer because of the material. It's perfectly fine with your different chemicals. Even if you have a oil spill, perfectly fine. Even bleach is okay on this type of material. So here we have our tailgate hinge. So whether you have a tailgate closed or you have it open just like that, we have this hinge here made of a different material. So this is gonna be made of mesh. So it's a strong enough mesh where it still creates a full liner and debris doesn't just fall right through, but it's flexible as well to accommodate for your opening and closing of your tailgate. So what's the experience like How does this mat actually feel Was this really quick and easy to install And it actually really was. You just pop it in. Maybe the only involved process would be your initial set up of the hooking loop patches if that's what you wanna use. Even without those patches though, I noticed that it stays in the bed and it doesn't shift around much. As for feeling the impact cushion, feeling that foam. This is very comfortable. I've had to work in a bunch of different truck beds and those plastic liners, as well as those spray-on in liners can be very uncomfortable. This feels really good to work on. I so can see how it absorbs the impact. So if I did drop tools on here, I wouldn't be worried about my truck bed. Prep work, you're gonna have some adhesive strips at the end of those adhesive strips you have hook and loop patches. So those patches are gonna be placed underneath your liner, follow the instructions for your specific vehicle, but do not take off the adhesive strip first. So just make sure it's patched on you're
