A. K LUNGALANG
#.Born on 5th June 1930. puidiheing lungalang and Heigauzeule (daughter of Ibaheing thou) at BENREU village.

#.EDUCATIONAL qualification:
He was the first batch to pass out class VI from govt. middle school, peren. later studies at govt high school KOHIMA.

#.Got married in the year 1953.

#.Served as SECRETARY. Zeliang Baptise Association from 1954 to 1959

#.Served as CHAIRMAN. Zeliang-kuki Tribal council from 1960 to 1962

#.Joined National Service as COMMISIONE, japfu state from 1962 to 1968

#. Arrested by Gorkha regiment on 2nd November 1968. during captivity. he fasted for 54 days and nights. then unconditionally released by the Govt of India.

#.Served as president, Zeliangrong Baptise association from 1972 to 1975

#.In 1991 then chief of naga army GEN. V.S Atem invited him to join the Christmas celebration at GHQ. Chaka camp. they had intense debate for 3 days and nights. and ultimately the army chief convinced him of their principals, hence he joined NSCN under the leadership of ISAK chichi swu and Th.muivah in the year 1991. His declaration of faith & illegiance in Isak chichi swu and Th.muivah was published in Nagaland post.

#.He was elected as the first Tatar representing Zeliangrong Region in 1994.

#.He was inducted as KILONSER, law & justice in 1999

#.Served as Steering committee member from 2000 to 2002

#.Served the nation in the capacity kilo KILONSER from 2002 to 2004

#. Served as Steering committee member from 2004 to 2007

#.Held the speaker, Tahar hoho from 2007 to 2008.

#.Inducted into the collective leadership on 24th June and continuing till date.

#. He was a member of the team he bring peace parleys at BANGKOK with the representative of the Government of India in the month of July, 1997. after successful peace talks, ceasefire was declared on 1st Aug 1997 and since then, he was being actively involved in negotiations with the government of India to find a final and lasting solution the long cherish goal of the nagas without BORDERs.
