Disabled and Proud presents, "Independent Living Centers - Your Local Home for Disability Advocacy" Presentation Summary: Did you know California was the first state to have an Independent Living Center led by and for people with disabilities? There are no other organizations in the world like them. Independent Living Centers provide an important role in hundreds of cities and counties across the country. Many youth are active in the disability community but know little about the extent of the services ILCs can provide to youth. Attend this webinar to learn more about your local ILC and how they can work with you to advocate and reach your unique independent living goals.
