Well we have something unique on display today. An honest attempt at a "3D" style NHL game on the SNES...in 1993 no less! While technically impressive especially for the time, this game gave me a headache. The constantly changing perspective on the chunky framerate was very disorienting. Perspective/Depth was also impossible to judge for the most part. I will reiterate I appreciate trying to punch way above your weight class but I think it's obvious why NHL stayed in 2D for this console.
