In 2022, human powered vehicle racing returned to the track after a pandemic affected and challenging two years. The first round of the UniSA Australian HPV Super Series held in Mount Gambier, showed racing had resumed, and the passion and commitment had never gone away. The Bend Motorsport Park, an award winning motor racing complex in South Australia's Coorong Region, hosted Round 2. The fight to win and take outright victory saw three top class teams battle it out.
