The 2024 Toyota Camry continues to cement its legacy as one of the best-selling sedans in the U.S., even as SUVs and pickups dominate the market. The hybrid version pairs the same engine with two electric motors, prioritizing fuel efficiency over driving excitement. However, the Camry’s steering and braking feel well-tuned, offering a balanced mix of comfort and responsiveness.

Fuel economy is one of the Camry’s standout features. The LE and SE four-cylinder models achieve up to 39 mpg on the highway, while the LE Hybrid offers an impressive 51 mpg in the city and 53 mpg on the highway. Even the V-6 variants deliver reasonable efficiency, with EPA ratings of 22 mpg city and 33 mpg highway.

Inside, the Camry offers a spacious and functional cabin, though material quality varies noticeably between trims. While lower trims feel basic, the higher-end XLE and XSE models provide a luxurious experience for the price. Hybrid models preserve the Camry’s ample cargo space by relocating the battery beneath the rear seats.
