In this video we take an airplane flying to make sure that everything is working properly prior to be exported to another country.
During the flight we found some issues but also had a great time while watching the Captain Eloiza Vieira hand flying the plane and land it like a wonderful pilot that she is.


What causes autopilot failure?

Autopilots can and do fail. A common problem is some kind of servo failure, either because of a bad motor or a bad connection. A position sensor can also fail, resulting in a loss of input data to the autopilot computer.


If auto pilot fails then the pilots manually fly the plane all throughout the way to the next airport.


In cases of significant turbulence, a pilot may disengage the autopilot to help ease the vertical loads on the airplane by reducing the corrective control inputs. All takeoffs and most landing are done manually.
