How much money are UCLA college grads making after they get out of school? In this video, I had my friend Alex interview recent UCLA grads on the day of their graduation to find out what their starting salaries are, how they got their jobs, and whether college was actually worth it. Some of them had full-time jobs lined up, some were still figuring it out, and others were building businesses or going into the military. We got to talk to students all over the campus, and it was super interesting learning about their experiences.

UCLA isn’t cheap, costing around $38K a year all in for in-state students, and well over $70K for out-of-state. Because of the cost, I've always wondered if students still see it as worth it even without a guaranteed career path. From what I’ve seen and heard in these interviews, most grads are landing jobs pretty quickly, especially in fields like tech, consulting, and healthcare. Some are making $70K to $100K right out of college, and a few are even pushing higher six figures if they’re in roles like software engineering or product management.
