Here is a demo of how I replaced the piston, rings and gudgon pin on my Stihl FS 260C Line Trimmer. I'm sure many other makes and models will be similar.
The engine appears to be locked up and the pull cord only comes out a few inches.
The engine was run with out enough two (2) stroke oil.
"That will do" didn't do :)
I show how to install the rings on the new piston without a ring expander and I show how to make your own Ring Compressor to install the piston back in the cylinder bore. I'm no expert but if I can do it chances are you can to :)
