Flute Spotlight: Powell Handmade Custom Flutes with Adam Walker

Powell's handmade flute range goes back almost 100 years to 1927 when Verne Q Powell produced the first flutes under his own name, modelled on the great French makers but with an American twist to suit the demands of an American orchestra. Today, Powell produce custom flutes in a range of materials, and we were fortunate enough to be joined by the incredible Adam Walker, international soloist and orchestral player (and Powell artist) to demonstrate some of these wonderful instruments.
