How to get rid of slugs and snails . Also how to keep beneficial insects and make use of beneficial bacteria!

This is the second episode of a series I’m starting, I would love if you could recommend other ideas for future videos !! I plan on doing a “how to pollenate flowers” and “how to grow cactus from seed” as well as “how to graft cactus” !

Also touching on beneficial bacteria and how you can use them on your potted plants and even inside your grow tent at home !

Growing cactus indoors can be tricky to use a lot of organic material and live insects, but it’s also inside your home so it’s not a good place to use poison or chemicals !

Adding elements to your soil while gardening can help your topsoil and plants while also helping deter things like snails and slugs ! Rather than use poison you can improve the texture of your growing medium along with adding essential micronutrients!

Topdressing your garden beds with things like wood ash and diatomaceous earth stops bad bugs in their tracks ! It also adds nutrients like potash , potassium , iron , calcium and other plant usable foods along with enriching your growing area with raw minerals that in turn feed the beneficial bacteria already living in your soil !

Rather than using snail baits and slug attractant , you can apply epsom salts which contain magnesium and sulfur, which are plant food’s essential to growing healthy cacti ! The salt kills things you don’t want around your kaktus while feeding your roots ! Magnesium sulphate is eaten by cactos roots and helps provide kaktüs flowers with essential vitamins and nutrients they need !
