In late February, I had a couple of free months ahead of me so I decided to go no-life and speedrun production of this video to get it released and finally conclude the story as I originally intended. I made this in almost exactly 3 months, from Feb 28th to May 1st.

I’m going to be honest I’m really disappointed with how this series performed, and I’ve grown to resent it throughout the years. These videos weren’t fun to make, they took too long to animate, and the result was never up to the standard that I wanted to reach. Mocap didn’t perform as well as I had hoped, and the alt-universe dramatic story is also not the best fit for the TF2 setting.

In the end, all I had to show for the miserable time I’ve poured into the series - was an embarrassing number of subscribers and sub-par videos that don't gel with the algorithms due to how long they take to make.

I had thoughts about deleting my channel but some of you talked me out of it. And pretty much the only reason I made this video in particular is out of respect for everyone invested in the series. This is my gift to you. I didn't cut any corners and stuck to the original ideas I wrote all those years ago. I hope the video didn’t disappoint.

Another thing that was bothering me a lot was having an unfinished project hanging over my head. I had thoughts that if I happened to die – I wouldn’t be able to move on to the afterlife and haunt this land until the end of times because of this. lol Like what would my viewers think of me? That I got lazy and abandoned the project?

Also, making this video was especially difficult because my Mocap suit broke and was barely working this time, and due to the war going on in my country, I’ve had random blackouts (electricity being turned off at random intervals for entire streets) during the animation and production. I’ve lost progress several times because of that.

Regardless, I want to make it clear that all of these shortcomings are my own fault. I’ve bet on things that didn’t work out and since then reevaluated my approach to making TF2 videos. I still have stuff to figure out but I have some cool ideas planned for this channel. Whether they work out is up in the air but I’m excited for the things to come. I am unsure about how much free time I'm going to have in the future, but I do plan to upload more often than once every few years.

This video is unmonetized due to copyrighted music, I deemed it was more important than ad revenue, so I hope some of you give my future content a chance.
