EXPLANATION/MEANING:
The process and point in the video is called 'ascension.' Referencing our higher-layers/levels - each person's inner angel, and the goal is to reach out and integrate our higher-selves and 'become' our true selves (immortalized) when we finally leave this world... reclaiming our eternal-selves.

Achieving union and immortalization within the Holy Guardian Angel of Self is about post-death transformation from the mortal self into the higher immortal self (integrating/inviduation identity is a path to escaping reincarnation and/or dissolution, not ego/identity annihilation, but self-wholeness). Working to become aware and build a connection to source-identity (the angel within) is essential to achieving the post-death transformation from a soul that must come back (reset/amnesia) and one that will 'become' an eternal metaphysical being.

Emanation:
From Archangel Uriel (Light/Fire of God - Regent of the Sun) comes the Dawn & Sunset Angels (Gazardiel & Aftiel). One of Aftiel's lesser forms is the angel Vemiel/Vemael. There is also an immortal form (when he walks among humans in disguise) which I simply call "Magnus," and a human emanation (a lowly little weirdo).

There is a school of thought, in mysticism, focused on uniting the human self with it's holy guardian angel (everyone has their angel - in religio-mythological beliefs).

In another sense, it is about uniting with your 'higher self,' or your 'true self,' as in the part of you that is eternal, immortal, becoming a 'living soul,' or an 'eternal being,' once you leave this life.

In my real life, my angel made itself known to me several years ago, quite forcefully, and insistently, and has not left me since, and this song is an invocation (calling) to that angel (Aftiel/Aftael - Angel of Twilight or Sunset, the Evening Star)... an obscure 'rabbinical' angel (known in Judaism).

NOTE: Angels are not gendered - they are literally without gender, but can appear in various forms, male or female seeming, while in their truest forms nearly beyond comprehension (intricate dynamic patterns of living light and mind/consciousness).

SYMBOLIC language is used in regard to uniting the human nature to the higher-truer nature. This is my guardian angel and this song is personal.

Afiel - Last Light of God

Shalim - In ancient Canaanite/Semitic/Ugaritic myth) one of the first-born offspring of EL (twins - twilight and dawn)... his name became the basis of 'Shalome' (Peace) and Jerusalem (Salem/Shalim = Peace, as in the end of day when everyone begins to wind down to rest)
