Sudesh Mahto is a Kudmi, and apart from AJSU, Kudmis have been voting for JMM. That is why so far, there has been a fight between these two parties from here. But this time the equation can be a little different. The party JLKM, that is, Jairam Mahto's party, which has emerged as an option for the Kudmis, will definitely field its candidate from Silli this time. And there should be no hesitation in saying that more or less, but their influence will remain here. If Jairam chooses the right candidate, then the contest here can be triangular. Whereas in the history of Jharkhand, a triangular contest has happened here only once in 2005, when Sanjay Kumar of CPI(M) came third by getting 13 thousand 700 votes and Sudesh Mahto won.
It is clear that this time three Kudmi candidates will stand from Silli, all three parties will be such, whose vote bank is Kudmi. In such a situation, it is really difficult to say who will win. If the Kudmi vote is equally divided, which is unlikely, then it will become important who the 31 percent tribals and 6 percent will vote for. The tribals of Silli are traditionally voters of JMM and this time the Muslims can vote for JMM as well as Jairam. Overall, the matter here is interesting, anything can happen. This shows that JMM has cadre voters here.
