As for Leighton, he has earned two the highest designations in the business insurance industry. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER TM and a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter. The years of real-life experience and extra training have exposed him to many of the situations you will face. He is uniquely qualified to assist you with your business insurance needs. He has also developed a network of professionals that can likely address any business insurance issue you may face.

Leighton was born in Kingston, Jamaica and came to America when he was three months old. After spending six years in New York, his family relocated to Broward County, Florida. Years later he graduated from Cooper City High School then the University of Florida. His most impactful affiliation while at UF was working with the Southwestern Company, an educational sales organization. He paid his way through school selling books door-to-door during his summers. Much of his professional philosophy and character came from his experiences with Southwestern. To this day, he often draws on the problem-solving skills he developed while at Southwestern. After graduation, Leighton worked with Morgan Stanley as a Financial Advisor and Assistant Branch Manager. Years later he took a position with Federated Insurance as a business insurance agent in the Sarasota/Bradenton area. He spent almost a decade with Federated but left to start his own agency in Broward County and reunite his immediate and extended family.

Leighton is the proud father of three children.
Oddly enough, the central character in my biography is ‘YOU.’ As I look back on my life, I realize that all of my experiences have helped me discover and prepare for my mission: helping you achieve your business goals with confidence.
