Here’s a healthy, tasty and high-protein Green Chana Chaat recipe — perfect for evening snack, weight loss and vegetarian protein intake.
This chaat is rich in protein, fibre, iron and antioxidants and keeps you full for longer. It is light on the stomach, easy to prepare and very refreshing.
🥗 Ingredients:
For Chana Base: 1 cup green chana (steamed for 5 minutes)
•1 medium onion (finely chopped)
• 1 medium tomato (finely chopped)
• 2 tbsp roasted peanuts
For Green Chutney: • Handful of fresh coriander
• 1 tbsp mint leaves
• 2 green chillies
1 small piece of ginger
• ½ tsp rock salt
• ½ tsp black salt
• ½ tsp roasted cumin powder
• ½ tsp chaat masala
•Juice of 1 lemon
For Garnish: Pomegranate seeds
•Fresh coriander leaves
👩‍🍳 Method:
Steam soaked green chana for 5 minutes and let it cool.
Grind all chutney ingredients into a smooth paste.
In a bowl add steamed chana, onion, tomato, roasted peanuts and green chutney.
Mix well and garnish with pomegranate and coriander.
Serve fresh and enjoy 😊
