Mandeep Sodhi (guest speaker)

Mandeep Sodhi is CEO and founder of Effi Technology, an AI powered SaaS platform for mortgage brokers helping them reduce their admin time by half and double their revenue.

Mandeep was selected as one of the top 100 coolest people in Australian tech by Business Insider in October 2016, awarded Young Business Leader by IABCA in 2017 and nominated as Finalist for 2017 Young Business Leader of the Year award by Optus. For his contribution to Australia as a successful migrant, Mandeep’s name was added to the 79th Bronze Panel of the Welcome Wall in 2018. Prior to embarking on the start up journey, Mandeep worked in the financial services sector for over a decade and added an Executive MBA with Distinction average from Sydney Business School in 2014 to his academic profile.

Prior to starting Effi in 2020, Mandeep founded online marketplace called HashChing in 2015 connecting borrowers to a local mortgage broker and exited in 2019 after settling $2bn worth of home loans. Mandeep has over 15 years of banking working at Westpac, CBA and AMP on various strategic projects.

Kurt is an experienced product leader, passionate about leveraging innovative digital technologies and lean product management methodology to help organisations and customers solve their problems effectively. Over the years, Kurt accumulated solid product management experience from companies like CBA, VMware, and Cashrewards.
