In this episode, we add a new stop to our property review map, Wangsa Maju. Altris Residence is located within The Quartz township. While Wangsa Maju is known for being a mature address in Kuala Lumpur, The Quartz is a relatively newer township, beginning with Lexa Residence back in 2019.

Altris is the 4th phase of the township, with owners receiving their keys in February 2025. Although it sits on the smallest plot in The Quartz, the developer made good use of the space and didn’t compromise. Instead of leaving areas like beneath the car park empty, they turned it into facilities such as swimming pools (but the main infinity pool is still located on the 9th floor), a kids’ play area, and a multipurpose hall.

Some of the unit layouts stand out, especially the duplex designs. Certain duplexes enjoy a pool-facing view with direct access to the swimming pool, while others on the same level come with larger yard areas that can act as an alternate entrance for guests or a spot to chill and "santai".

In terms of connectivity, Altris links conveniently to Jalan Jelatek, which leads directly to Jalan Ampang and onwards to KLCC. From there, Jalan Tun Razak connects you to TRX and Bukit Bintang. Major highways like MRR2, DUKE, and SPE are also accessible, though there is only one main entrance into The Quartz. For public transport, the nearest LRT station, LRT Sri Rampai isn’t within walking distance, but the developer provides a shuttle service during weekday peak hours.

Overall, Altris itself is a low-density project, though it sits in a high-density area surrounded by many existing and upcoming condos, including Milla, the 5th phase of The Quartz, located right next door.
