Discipline Priest - Zekvir Harmode ?? - 615 Ilvl - completed 6th of December 2024 after Nerfs to both Brann and Zekvir.
Let me solo him - done 6th of December 2024 - TWW Patch 11.05
I did Holy Priest first and decided not to reduce ilvl for this challenge, for the same reasons as with Holy:
Holy and Disc priest, is without a doubt, the most chaotic challenge Zekvir has to offer, for the simple reason. You do NOT have an interrupt, but Brann does.
It's a problem. Sometimes he'll go on his gryphon and not interrupt, sometimes he's using Rapid Shot and won't interrupt, if Web Terror spawns, he'll prio that cast over the heal. And sometimes he just won't interrupt. Sometimes, he's feared, and you have to dispel him!

Very important, if Zekvir is about to cast Smash or Web, don't go to the add yet. Smash often goes on Brann, who might be wrongly positioned, but Web ALWAYS goes on you. And in p2 you wanna face Zekvir 45-90 degrees away from the cocoon to bait it, so you can do free damage.
For making it easier - macro's:
ex
#showtooltip
/Cast Fade
/Cancelaura Fade
Reason for this macro is that, you want to use Fade to remove Enfeeble Spittle, but you also want to remove Fade. Then you can make Zekvir run a bit back and forth between the two of you. And yes, you DO need Fade to dispel snares. Sometimes you HAVE to use your actual dispel on Brann to remove fear so he can interrupt boss heal.
#showtooltip
/cast [@focus,exists,help,nodead] Power Infusion; [@player] Power Infusion
A macro I searched for and found https://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/...
You do have to put Brann on focus, but it allows you to cast it on Brann.
Greatest best of luck to you all! This fight you have to play personally well and "lead" brann with your movement and dispel.
And a quick FYI, sometimes Brann when feared, or even without, will run into the hall and OUT of the room. If Zekvir follows, he'll reset. Brann however, cannot be more than 50 yards from you, so if you stand opposite the entrance, before he can go too far, he'll tp back to you!
Talents I used:
https://www.wowhead.com/talent-calc/p...
I have some disc experience and decided to throw some stuff together!
In the priest tree:
outside key talents in Priest tree, there's a lot of freedom, you could even argue for Leap of Faith for Brann control!
fx. more more ranged, but if you get too far you can't dodge Smash. You can make Fade have less cd or reduce dmg taken, you can even take Dominate Mind. It DOES work on the Web Terror, the spider spawned from the cocoon. But it has diminishing returns into immunity. I wouldn't suggest using it though, you can avoid healing it as Disc, but it's too much risk for too little reward.
I tried Oracle, I wanted it to work, but goodness. Disc's damage is pretty shit, sorry disc players. Even with Oracle's Preventive Measure's adding 40%, it was laughable. Voidweaver it is!
The damage from Voidweaver's talents is insane. 4 of 5 of my top damage done is either pure Voidweaver talents or normal abilities imbued with Voidweaver effects. It also gives lovely movement speed and the Voidwraith alone is incredible at dealing with cocoon.
Disc talents. There's a few but VERY powerful talents.
I didn't track Twilight Equilibrium, and it might not work well with Voidweaver due to making some abilities shadow, but there's not really any other talents that caught my fancy. You may think, but there's Ultimate Penitence which does A LOT and can be reduced with Heaven's Wrath. Yes, you're right, AND, you'll be hanging up in the air for Zekvir to kill for 6 seconds, unmoving. And sure you get a shield for 50% of max health. Won't matter. then again, that's IMO.(I know I used it for Thumbnail, it looks good!)
The Disc tree doesn't have a lot of flexibility here if you want to focus on damage. What I took is what I consider mandatory.
Stats: As always with a healer, FUCK MASTERY! Get that min. Versa and hit the gym for some insane crits and fast punches! Pewpew.
My trinkets are:
1) Kaheti Shadeweaver's Emblem. Shadow burst damage 1min cd. Yum!
2) Mad Queen's Mandate. So powerful, at ilvl 606 and as healer, it'll execute the cocoon around 40%, I tried to have it around 35% to make sure. Ofcourse IF it crits, it executes at 70-80%, but you just need it to take the last.
With these 2 trinkets you can use an active trinket for each cocoon. One has to be used as execute though, while Kaheti's can be used when cocoon spawns! It helped a lot.
Embellishment:
Darkmoon Sigil! Although, I HEAVILY considered getting Elemental Focusing Lens, but, I never did. Only problem with Darkmoon Sigil is 25% of the time you get a dead stat, otherwise it's great!
