Superlative Adjectives - Easy English Grammar

Usain Bolt, Bill Gates and Stephen Hawking. What do they all have in common? They are all the best at what they do. Usain Bolt is the fastest, Bill Gates is the richest and Stephen Hawking is the most intelligent. The adjectives we use to describe things like this are called superlative adjectives. Knowing how to correctly form a sentence using the correct form of a superlative adjective, can be a little hard, however.

Comparative adjectives are used to compare two things. We use superlative adjectives when we want to compare everything in a group, and identify one thing as extreme within the group. There are a few rules regarding how adjectives change to be used in their superlative forms, and this video will help make that simple. Furthermore, I will present the grammar associated with forming a sentence using a superlative adjective.
