Christmas Prophecies - His Birth, Ministry and Life, Death and Resurrection

In our last lesson, we learned about prophecy, especially as a mode of communicating the birth of Jesus. Notwithstanding, we focused more on understanding prophecy in general, its definition, and categories (including indictment prophecy, judgment prophecy, and aftermath prophecy). Finally, we discussed what constitutes a prophecy and what does not. Everything Jesus did and everything done to him on earth was prophesied. As learned already, God with his foreknowledge knew every that would happen before, during, and after Jesus' life on earth. Therefore, God communicated this plan either directly or through his spokespersons (prophets).
Today, we would like to look more closely at different scripture references that give prophecies about Jesus, his birth, ministry, death, and resurrection.
