Скачать или смотреть First Place: Assessing Inequities in Electrification Via Heat Pumps Adoption Across the U.S.

This research assesses the racial, income and renter/owner distribution of heat pump technology across the U.S. and proposes a framework for assessing injustices in the electrification market. The study finds significant differences in the racial distribution of heat pumps nationwide with distinct patterns of adoption between racial-majority communities. It also finds evidence of injustice insofar as in areas where heat pumps provide net benefits they are less likely to be adopted by minority households than white households.
