The Worldwide Zombie Outbreak Megagame - Bristol (Ouisconsin) - Urban Nightmare: State of Chaos

"What is this?" - This video is an attempt to tell the "story" of some of the things that happened in the 'Urban Nightmare: State of Chaos' megagame that I ran in Bristol in July 2017. This megagame was part of a larger project called the 'Wide Area Megagame', which saw about a dozen megagames being played simultaneously across the world - each one representing a different fictionalised US State (and one representing a fictionalised Canada). Units, information and resources were transferred live between games, as one of the games, representing the federal government, made national-level decisions that affected all of the others.

"What is 'Urban Nightmare: State of Chaos'?" - 'Urban Nightmare: State of Chaos' is a megagame about a zombie outbreak in a fictionalised US state. Players represent authorities at the city, state and federal levels as well as private biotech corporations and the news media. The crisis sees all these groups conflicting and coordinating as they respond to the crisis, with information issues and political concerns playing as much a part as fighting the zombie hordes.
