Every Tuesday until the middle of September, the velodrome is host to our premier Tuesday Night Racing series. These fast-paced races feature our fastest, most skilled, and experienced riders. With breathtaking speeds, there's never a dull moment on the track and it's FREE to watch.

With the best weather in the nation it's no wonder why cycling is great in San Diego. This uniqueness allows the San Diego Velodrome to be host to one of the longest velodrome race seasons in the United States. We offer ATRA and USAC racing across our various race series. From April to October there is a smattering of introductory and developmental series, premier racing, collegiate, and championship races. We have something for every track rider.

San Diego was the first city in California. It's also the second largest. We probably have the best collection of surf spots, the best Mexican food, a great social scene, and one of America's best urban parks. The San Diego Velodrome is home to current State, National, and World Championship Riders. (We have a few Olympians too!) Come ride and train with the best!
