This video is about the family Tree/Shajra Nasb of Tipu Sultan. Tipu Sultan also known as the Tiger of Mysore was the ruler of the Kingdom of Mysore based in South India. Today we will discuss about his family lineage, from his forefathers to his children today.
He was a pioneer of rocket artillery. Tipu Sultan and his father Haider Ali used their French-trained army in alliance with the French in their struggle with the British and in Mysore's struggles with other surrounding powers like against the Marathas. Tipu's father, Hyder Ali, had risen to power and Tipu succeeded him as the ruler of Mysore upon his father's death in 1782. He fought a total of four wars against British East India Company and won three our of the four and in the last battle he got Martyred.
