Matt Sedillo is an award-winning internationally touring poet, writer, and public intellectual whose name has appeared in New York Times, the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, The Chicago Tribune, La Reforma, El Universal, The UK Daily Mail, and countless other publications. He has appeared on CSPAN as well as the Canadian Broadcast Corporation. Sedillo has been hailed as "the best political poet in America" as well as "the poet laureate of struggle" by acclaimed journalists and historians. He is the current literary director of the dA Center for the Arts in Pomona California. He is the author of Mowing Leaves of Grass and the upcoming collection City on the Second Floor.
