We are thrilled to officially announce the completion of Summer’s dream bedroom and fully accessible bathroom, a project that simply would not have been possible without you!

This beautiful space, designed by Lindsay Ellington at Randall-Paulson Architects, came to life because our donors rallied together tfund Summer’s renovation. We are especially grateful to Eric and Kara Brown of Lead Coverage, who generously donated on behalf of their clients and community.

Your collective generosity transformed not just a home, but a family’s daily life.Summer’s story is one of incredible resilience. She lives with epilepsy, mixed cerebral palsy, a swallowing disorder, and significant muscle tone challenges that make everyday tasks painful and difficult. Summer’s primary caregiver is her single mother, Shanon, who provides round-the-clock care. As Summer has grown, the physical demands of lifting, bathing, diapering, and feeding her have taken a toll, resulting in back and neck injuries for Shanon. For years, she worried about how much harder this journey would become without a safer, more supportive home environment.

That’s where you stepped in.

Because of your generosity, Summer now has an accessible bathroom that is safer and more dignified for both her and her mom, along with a dream bedroom that truly reflects her joyful spirit. Her new space celebrates who she is, and gives her mom much-needed relief and peace of mind.
