Peugeot 406 Rear Suspension Noise

Changing the Rear Anti Roll Bars, and Track Control Arms on a 2002 Peugeot 406 2.0 HDi (Although I think its the same parts and procedure with all variants of the 406)

The car was making an irritating clunking rattly noise from the back end, it actually started a few months ago, but got worse to the point where the radio wouldn't drown out the noise, especially over the bumpy roads round here, The cars handling didn't seem too different although it did sway about a bit more going around corners which is no longer an issue.

Its fairly easy to change these parts they don't wear out as often as the front droplinks, this has been the first time in 5 years of owning the car where I had to change them. Rusty parts will be the main cause for difficulty, had the nuts and bolts been coated with some copper grease when fitted previously I think that the technique of putting a torx or hex bit in the middle and looening the nuts with a spanner would have worked, here I had to use a pair of vise grips to clamp down on the bolt part so the nut would come off, on the front droplinks I would normally just get out the angle grinder and cut off the old nuts, but here on the rear suspension there is much less space available, a dremel with a cutting disk might fit but would take more time than with the vise grips.
When refitting the rear track control arms I just set the bolt to a mark I had made before removal, I still plan to get a 4 wheel alignment done on the car at some time to check everything over as I did notice the rear tyres were showing wear on their outer edge.

There was also a loose bit of trim; the rear wheelarch liner was not held in place securely, one of the plastic clips had broken, I was able to reach the other side of where the clip goes through and held a nut there, while installing a bolt to hold the liner in place this now holds the whole wheelarch liner securely in place.
