Amtrak Exhibit Train in Houston TX! 10/3/2016 + 10/4/2016

Even though the railfanning weekend was over, the special trains weren't! After the Galveston Railroad Days event, the exhibit train went back to Houston and left on the EB #2. I got really lucky and watched the train do some switching from overhead!

0:00 - On 10/3/2016, the exhibit train with the Patrick Henry cars backs into the station and waits overnight to leave. The WB #1 took the Patrick Henry cars that evening, but I wasn't around for it.

2:16 / 4:56 - The next day on 10/4/2016, after #2 arrived at the station, the power moves to collect the exhibit train.

7:36 / 11:55 - The exhibit train now moves to the original #2.

14:33 - Awesome! The combined exhibit train and #2 reversed and left on the Houston sub Main 1. I went to the track and got an up-close shot of the huge train! I didn't feel safe in this spot though, so I won't go there again.
