We often talk about procrastination a lot these days. But what is actually procrastination?

On a lighter note I believe procrastination, is the ultimate form of self-sabotage! Procrastination is the art of putting off important tasks until the very last second, thus maximizing the adrenaline rush and potential for chaos. It's the act of watching Netflix, scrolling through social media, or lying down here and there, instead of tackling the big project that's been looming over your head.

But what can help us manage this is a 5-minute rule which is:

The rule is to commit to working on the task for just 5 minutes, without any distractions or interruptions. Once the 5 minutes are up, you can choose to keep working on the task or take a break. The idea is that 5 minutes is a small enough time commitment that it feels manageable, and once you get started, you may find that it's easier to keep going than you thought.

Works many times for me and is a boom for me in homemaking.
