The progression of this band has been nothing short of amazing. The formula for I was heavy riffs accented by psychedelic flourishes. They upped the ratio of vocal harmony and tripped out a bit more for II. Now for III Weedpecker has become LSDpecker. Once again flipping the script and throwing out any preconceived notions about what type of band they are. This album is front and center with the psychedelics and accented with heavy riffs. It seems they found the same magic fountain that Elder discovered. III is a masterpiece. -Mathew Fridman
