Start/Finish: 'Dalavich Oakwood' Forestry Commission Scotland Car Park. On B845 in village of Dalavich, Argyll, Scotland on the west shore of Loch Awe.

Steady Away: Two and a half hours, about 6-7 miles. Lots to see, so maybe add an hour for exploring and making the most of the photo opportunities.

Distinguishing Features : Circular walk. Forestry Commission tracks and woodland paths. Not too demanding despite it being a walk up the hill and back, with an almost level component along the shore of Loch Avich. The Falls of Avich are a bonus at the end of the walk. Great views. Can be very slippy walking over the top of the hill after heavy rain so please take care. Min/max height above sea level ~50m to 200m.
