Hello all,
We return to the layout one last time for the year for this year's Christmas Special. With a couple of Australian model's purchased throughout the year, it made us return to something more common to head our train for another year. Once again, the train is led by steam, on what might be the last time for a little while. This year, our SDS Models K153 has been decorated up and takes the helm of our train this year. Like last year, we also dragged out B82 to assist. The configuration of the rolling stock sees the same passenger carriages as last year (rake of decorated Mk2s carriages), but a range of newer wagons (and some old) to make up the freight half. The rolling stock was left mostly undecorated, as a lot of the consist was only decided in the short term, other that the allocated fleet.
Not really sure what the plans of running these Christmas Specials will be in the future, as the layout is in a very odd operational condition at the moment.
