Florida wildlife officers mistakenly used a bolt gun on a pregnant boa constrictor, named Big Shirl, while tasked with euthanizing 34 pythons. Big Shirl was snake-breeder Chris Coffee's legal pet. The pregnant boa was also carrying 30 eggs, which are worth about $100,000. The snake breeder was in disbelief when the officers revealed their mistake to him. When the officers arrived, Coffee says he made it clear not to touch Big Shirl.
