A Tribute to István Baróti (Symphonie No. 2. Op. 20: Allegro by Vierne)

Istvan Baroti passed away recently as I was notified by a friend in Hungary. The pictures seen here were from my visit to the Esztergom Basilica in late September of 2013. Mr. Baroti was very kind to meet me at the Basilica and was so happy to show me and play the great organ. These images are my memories of this man, and I am so grateful to him for taking the time and showing me everything, including signing the CDs I bought of the Basilica Organ.

The track is the first movement from the 2nd Symphony by Louis Vierne, as played by Istvan Baroti on the Esztergom Organ. This was featured on the CD, "Organ Music From the Esztergom Cathedral Vol. 1". Information on the organ, discography and Istvan Baroti can be found here:
