If you're new to my channel, my name is Josh Pavao. I have no formal background in finance. Instead, I spent my college years in the US Army (2009) before moving to South Florida (2015) for a job as a police officer.

I worked for the Aventura Police Dept, for a little under 7 years. Day trading changed my life, here's a quick overview of my journey:

Month 1-3 (2020): Signed up for my first FTMO account, got funded.. then lost the account.

Month 4: I learned that there were things in the real world that move the markets, so I started studying fundamental analysis (some people call it "trading the news")

Month 10: I started to become consistent trading live accounts and growing them starting from $1,000

Year 3: I quit my career to become a full time trader. 2 months after quitting I made my year's salary in one month and never looked back.

Years 4 & 5: My first 2 years as a full time trader was full of new lessons as I adjust to an entirey new way of living.

Year 6+ (current): After 6 years and over 4,000 hours of chart time, I decided it's time to start sharing my lessons here on YouTube.

Trading helped me break free from a life I hated. I hope the lessons I share in these videos can help some of you do the same.
