Asam chicken. My simplified version of this nyonya dish is easy to make, but still taste great and delicious as ever.

Ingredients
2 chicken thighs + 3 chicken wings cut to bite size pieces
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp soy sauce
5 lemongrass
1 tsp turmeric powder

Ingredients to be blended
12 shallots
8 cloves of garlic
1 big red onion
6 red chillies
3 candle nuts
1 - 2 tbsp chillie paste
2 tbsp oil
1-2 tbsp water

2 tbsp seedless asam paste +
200ml water
Salt, mushroom granules, sugar to taste.
